Peter Michael Andersen

Expertise
 

Peter is a specialist in corporate and commercial law, including company law, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and (complex) commercial contracts. In addition, Peter is admitted to the Supreme Court of Denmark (Højesteret) and has during his career conducted a lot of litigation work, primarily in commercial disputes. Peter has advised and advises a variety of “start-ups”, small, medium and large businesses within his area of expertise. In this capacity, Peter has acted and acts as lead-M&A-advisor on a number of small, medium and large M&A-transactions. Peter is a well-known and well-reputed specialist, especially reputed for delivering clear, concise and “2-the-point” advice to customers.    
 

Peter holds the position as board member and chairman of the board in a number of limited liability companies and commercial foundations in Denmark and is a founder and a member of a group under The Danish Management Society.

Experience

Peter has been an employee and a partner in one of Denmark’s largest law firms for 21 years in the firm’s Corporate and M&A-department. In addition, Peter has taught junior attorneys and attorneys in company/corporate law for 20 years+. Furthermore, Peter is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Danish Army and has conducted service in the Danish Armed Forces for 35 years. In this capacity, Peter has conducted studies in the Danish Defense Academy for two years and the Canadian Defense Academy for one year – experiences which Peter uses in his daily advice to customers.

Education/ publications

 

Peter graduated from University of Copenhagen in 1994. In addition, Peter has conducted studies in International Commercial Law at University of California from 1998 – 2001.
